  1. Bent - You are the kind of friend everybody wish to have. Always full of humor, good spirit and nice comments.
Wether you were skydiving, sailing or whatever you made it in a safe and educational way which all those literaly thousands of people will miss. You were calm, safe and could see and adjusted for possible hazards which could have happend even long before they every had a chance to occure. It is then unfair that you had to leave us so many year earlier than we all had expected.
For all of us which spent time with you - you have put nice footprints in our memory which we will never forget.

    Your Skydiving and Sailing-friend

  4. To Bent's family.
I was so very fortunate to have joined Bent with Sabina and Matt on what was his last sailing from Marigot Bay. He was such a lovely person and we are so very, very sad that we will not be sailing with him again. It was our privelege to know him and count him as a dear friend. We were so looking forward to seeing him again later this year and although this will not happen now, he will always have a special place in our hearts. We will miss him so much on our next trip.
I took what might have been the last photographs of Bent on the Zephyr before he flew home and I will send them to his email as I am sure that his family will treasure them as we do.

  5. What a shock! I can't believe it - I looked, as I often do to see what he was up to. I am so sorry to hear this. It was a priviledge to have met Bent and we had a wonderful day sailing with him out of Marigot Bay in December. He had a great attitude to life and everyone was his friend. Iain & Audrey.

  7. Just checked the website and shocked to hear of Bents passing. We met him in Lanzarote back in 2010 when we were moored alongside him and before he sailed across the pond. Had several beers together and chatted about our dreams. Glad you managed to enjoy more than most but so sorry to hear of your early departure. Love to your family Mick & Jan Taylor

  8. you were skydiving, cruising or whatever you made it in a protected and instructive way which every one of those literaly a huge number of individuals will miss. You were quiet, safe and could see and balanced for conceivable dangers which could have happend even much sooner than they each had an opportunity to occure. It is then unreasonable that you needed to abandon us such a variety of year sooner than we as a whole had anticipated.sailing cruises in san blas islands
